Hi
I need to transfer a VSAM file from one LPAR to another.
When I give the name of the cluster as input file, I am getting error
SDE0384I
Mutually exclusive KEY not specified.
Mutually exclusive KEY not specified. One key was used; two
should have been used.
This is because the .DATA file is not transferred.
Do you know how I can transfer the cluster and DATA files together.

Looking at the NDM documentation, VSAM is supported as a receiving file type since there's a screen layout with VSAM organization, key length and offset fields. Since the VSAM cluster includes the definition of the DATA file, you should NOT need to specify them separately.
Your best bet would be to find out who in your site support group is the NDM expert and show that person your transfer job to see what's wrong. |
