1. Minimum 4-5 years experience on Mainframes Administration(specifically on the Application Maintenance)
(Should be able to collect data from various sources on Mainframes, where the application is giving problems and affecting performance.
Monitor system logs constantly for selected applications and update the application team why, where and how the performance is getting affected
Automate the performance monitoring tasks, so that the team gets constant information related to performance by writing scripts on mainframes.)
2. Exposure to vision plus application is an advantage but not compulsory
3. Excellent skills and experience on managing sessions and recovering data losses
4. Performance tuning of the Middleware applications (Monitoring)
Though this is an administrative position, the person need not work like an administrator for mainframes, but he needs to pin point and oversee all the principal activities so that the maximum service level is maintained. He would essentially be the coordinator between the client and the financial institution,to maintain the Vision Plus project and monitor the service level that is being provided by the client.
