Is it possible to check how many times a VSAM file is updated in a day? When I do a listcat for the file, i see only the latest update. |

I don't think you can but you can always check with Storage Team at your site, btw why would you need that? |

Check with your site support group. It may be possible to read the SMF data for that day to determine the number of times the VSAM data set was updated; only your site support group can tell you for sure whether or not this is possible (not all sites collect all SMF data). |
