Hi,
I have been getting Unknown Host error when trying to access this site intermittently.
This error occurs only on that specific X network.
However the site works perfectly fine on my home network.
I am no interweb expert, but is the site reachable via all the DNS servers?
Regards, |

Yes, of course. Can you trace route? |

Error on web browser
Description: Unable to locate the server named "www.ibmmainframes.com"
--- the server does not have a DNS entry. Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again.
Trace route output.

Seems like a momentary problem in your ISP's DNS cache. Anyone else facing this issue? |

The solution for those who are getting "Unknown Host" error and "502 Bad Gateway" error:
Please clear your browser cookies and restart the browser. The site works fine. |

For some reason, I still am receiving Unknown Host from that specific network.
I ate all my cookies, still the same error. |

Can you access the site using our IP address from that specific network.

Thank you, the IP technique works fine.
Just replacing the ibmmainframes.com part with IP works fine. |

I will edit my local Drivers\etc\hosts file with the above ip address, so the DNS translation does not cause issues. Thanks. |
