The only problem I have with IBM Softcopy Reader (on Win7 64-bit) is the way syntax diagrams are displayed.
They appear like this:
Quote:
>>__ _ALLOCATE_ _________________________________________________________>
|_ALLOC____|

>__ _ __ _DATASET_ _(_ _*__________ _)_ __ ____________________ _ ______><
| | |_DSNAME__| | <________ | | |__ _FILE___ _(name)_| |
| | |___dsname_|_| | |_DDNAME_| |
| |_DUMMY___________________________| |
|__ _FILE___ _(name)__ _________________________________ _____|
|_DDNAME_| |__ _DATASET_ _(_ _*__________ _)_|
| |_DSNAME__| | <________ | |
| |___dsname_|_| |
|_DUMMY___________________________|
instead of like this:
Code:
  >>__ _ALLOCATE_ _________________________________________________________>
      |_ALLOC____|

  >__ _ __ _DATASET_ _(_ _*__________ _)_ __ ____________________ _ ______><
     | |  |_DSNAME__|   | <________  |   |  |__ _FILE___ _(name)_| |
     | |                |___dsname_|_|   |     |_DDNAME_|          |
     | |_DUMMY___________________________|                         |
     |__ _FILE___ _(name)__ _________________________________ _____|
        |_DDNAME_|         |__ _DATASET_ _(_ _*__________ _)_|
                           |  |_DSNAME__|   | <________  |   |
                           |                |___dsname_|_|   |
                           |_DUMMY___________________________|

Can't you change the font to a monospaced font? If you can, try Courier New.

Syntax diagrams appear OK here (W7-64)

Softcopy reader V4.0
Service level S021412
Driver level SCRY3_021412

Font selection doesn't seem to matter

Since you say that font selection doesn't matter, I'm wondering about the actual book files. Maybe Santosh's have those diagrams as text boxes, while yours have them as pictures.

Or, the underlying text has markers in yours to prevent the text moving (like the HTML <pre> tag) while his version doesn't have them.

Can you two compare .boo versions?
