Hi , Please clarify that the following is possible in DFSORT/ICETOOL.
Input
Field1 Field2 Amt
R1 C1 88.00
R2 C3 -87.30
R1 C2 -88.00
R3 C3 81.20
R4 C3 77.31
R2 C4 87.30
R3 C4 -08.20
R4 C4 -07.21
Output (Print records if receipt total is 00.00)
Field1 Field2 Total
R1 C1 88.00
R1 C2 -88.00
R2 C3 -87.30
R2 C4 87.30
I understand there is a TRAILER option in outfil. But is it possible to apply filter on TRAILER totals .. |

Easy way is to take a help of this post and modify to include only those record which are having sum '0.00' and get rid off the count and header business.

So the first field is your key, the second is irrelevant, and you want to print all records for a key where the total for that key is zero?
Sounds like JOINKEYS, same input DSN for both legs, SORT in both, SUM in JNF2CNTL, OUTFIL INCLUDE= for the zero-sum values. Make the report look nice. |
