Can anyone explain what is the abend s640 all about...
And how to rectify it....it is urgent...

Are you sure it is S640 and not S604?

The system codes manuals (for z/OS) do not have anything for S640, but there is an entry for S604.

If you have got quick-ref, then try referring to the relevant pages or check this link for all the system completion codes.

Yes i am agree with Panda that there is no abend code s640.
jones,can u give details when u encounter this abend.
