Hello experts,

I have 2 datasets. One is 250 byte other is 150 byte

File 1 - Has spaces between position 130-150. Rest of the positions have valid values
File 2 - Has valid values at position 130-150. Rest of the positions also have valid values

Is there a way to copy file 2 contents at position 130-150 to file1 at same position. The data is packed decimal.

Any help on this is appreciated.

Certainly possible. How do the files match? One-for-one? It would also be a good time to make the fields non-packed :-)
