Hello friends,
I was trained in Mainframe Technology.but I have been working in a Research oriented Team So I have got a chance to learn Java,J2EE,Hadoop.
Currently,I have 3 years of experience in IT industry. Now I am thinking to move on projects.
So What will be the best?? can I move on to mainframe or Java.
I am really confused.I am really expecting your suggestions.your help will be much appreciated. |

Purely depends on your interest.
The knowledge of both technologies may help you in projects linking Mainframes & web services, if you want to work on both technologies. |

Look up IBMs IMS SOAP Gateway for one example
IBM also has UNIX on the mainframe, which can use cURL to do some fun stuff with web services, even from batch. |
