Hi Group,
Anyone know if this TP monitor still being used and what might it's status be.
I was talking to an older member of the staff and she mentioned this TP monitor being like CICS (and actually being more advanced than CICS of the time.)
She spoke of it with a passion; it must have been some code!!! The enthusiasm she has for this thing... Wow!!!
Seems it was by a firm by the name of Polygon or Isogon (or something like it) and it would run transactions across 10k terminals or more and had the equivalent of MRO back in the early 1970's.
