Hi,

Is there something called as "External Trigger" in DB2 on zOS as well? I've seen this for iSeries DB2 but not for DB2 on zOS?

Any pointers will be of great help.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

If you explain what you want to happen (not how you intend to do it), we may be able to suggest ways to do it.

If there is a stored procedure that needs to be run occasionally*, you may be able to do what you using the system scheduling software.

* by time of day, or creation of some external dataset, completion of some job(s), etc.
