Hi Ed,
Yes like DFHJAT35.boo.
I do not know which shelf they would be in however I have to believe the shelf would contain the acronym DMS.
Thank you for your reply.
Also I am willing to pay for the manuals in .BOO format.
Kindest regards,
RPrinceton

Hello,

Have you asked IBM - possibly someone involved with publications?

Hello Dick,
Yes I have contacted IBM Publications. It was a rather strange phone call to say the least. IBM was very vague and indicated the manuals were no longer available. This is the reason I decided to reach out to a forum.

I have a set of manuals CDs from the mid-late 90s which may have these publications on them. They are not with me but next time I go home (next weekend) I could try and find them, look to see if the manuals you want are on them, download them if they are and send to you. I will pm you if i get as far as the last step.

I will pay reasonable costs.

I wish I could say that you would have to pay for my flight but it is my regular fortnightly trip home! Everything else is just electronic except hunting fo the CDs so no cost. (I was given the CDs originally so not even a "notional" cost there.)

Well, I have found the CDs but, so far, have not found any .BOO files starting DMS. Maybe they start with something else e.g. DFH but there are soooooo many of those! I tried istalling book reader but it just froze my XP SP3 desktop system. I brought the CDs back to Ireland with me and will try again this evening on my laptop. It seems to run XP SP3 so much quicker than the desktop despite having more stuff on it and less memory!

(BTW the CDs are 1998)

Hello Nic,
Please continue to look. If I recall I think there is some type of an index file on the CD that shows a list of books on the CD.

Well, I found the index file and there is no mention of the titles even thought DMS was available through to 2004 or so and the CDs are dated 1998.
