Hi,
I have one doubt in Endevor. Can an element be Added and moved to Endevor without retrieving from production. Whether we will get any error when Adding to Stage 1 or while moving to production. |

Why not try it? But more importantly - why would you want to? |

I guess you will hit audit errors while moving into production if you are not checking out already existing(baselined) component frm production. |

Actually, I do not think you could add it to Endevor as it has not been signed out to you and if it is signed out to someone else you will not be allowed to add it back. |

It depends on the endevor settings. In our setup, we can override signout when adding code in the development regions. |

If it's a new element you can directly add it to Endevor staging area, test and move to production after getting business approvals using Endevor packages option. |

--- Yes. Need not retrieve it if you want to add it, but surely you need to have it signed out to you or you need to have access for overriding signout which is bad practice. |
