Hi,
I needed to extract all the DDL statements for a partiular database. So i gave the following command in DB2 Commands.
Cmd 1 ===> -DB2LOOK -D BMACS
I keep getting teh following errors.
DSN9019I ) VERB '-DB2LOOK' IS NOT A KNOWN COMMAND
DSN9023I ) DSN9SCND '-DB2LOOK ' ABNORMAL COMPLETION
Could any one please help me? |

db2look is a Linux/Unix/Windows tool.
Just because you find some manual from IBM, it still has to be the manual for your system.
Also, the "-" you have preceding the command is not supposed to be there, it is just the way they do the syntax diagram.
If you have luw, you can connect to a z/OS database, at least potentially. But you probably don't. |

There is a mainframe version of DB2LOOK that you can find on the International DB2 users group web site. www.idug.org
It is a free offering, not a vendor product. I have never used it so I have no comment about whether it will do what you want. |
