Greetings !

I extract JOB level information for all the batchjobs in our firm using BATJOBxx of MICS. Recently, I have observed that jobs failing with JCLERR during the execution are not captured by JOBJCLER variable of BATJOBxx.

By default, The JOBJCLER will be set as 1 whenever a job fails with JCLERR. But the variable is set only when the JCLERR is identified before the execution.

The TERMCODE value is also blank for these kind of job.

Can you please let me know whether there is any other way to fix this. I mean, If a job is failing it should not be shown as successful execution. Please let me know if there is anything that can be done to fix this.

Also, It would be better to know if there is any parameter that indicates a job failure / Unsuccessful termination irrespective of the failure condition like abend or JCLERR or Maxcc > 4 etc.
