Generating Sequence Number in SORT without using Input File.

My requirement is to generate the 10000 sequence number starting from 1, increment by 1. When will use SEQNUM logic, then it always asking for an Input file. But without depenedent on Input file, is it possible to generate a sequence number using SORT.

Have a look at the use of REPEAT in this example.

You will need one "input record", but the content of that record is of no consequence.
