I have been testing the feasibility of two approaches for SOAP on the mainframe. One was REXX, which is working, and now I'm playing with cURL in the OMVS segment.

To get the z/OS job to connect to the right stack and get to the test server, I had to add a SYSTCPD DD pointing to a SYS1.TCPPARMS parm member. Otherwise, the server was not found.

Does anyone here know how to get that same override imposed to the OMVS segment? It would have to be temporary, for just that one session/command.

If it makes any difference, the plan is to run a shell script on the USS/OMVS side from a batch job on the z/OS side using BPXBATCH.
