Hi,
Is there any way we can get email notification or we can trigger any job or rexx code when we receive any pop up message on Mainframe. Like when we don't have authorization on any dataset and we get a pop up message with black screen with message. |

I dont have any idea about IDMS or ADSO but why do you wanted to re invent the wheel

What does this mean since mainframes do not have pop up messages in general?
Your question is so general it cannot really be answered as posted -- are you only wanting secuirty notifications? or are you wanting to know more such as job problems? is your job scheduler handling emails already? What software products does your site have installed to assist with this? |
