I have 5000 PS with the high qualifier AAAAAA.BBBBBB.CCCCCC.DDDDDD.*
I want to rename the second qualifier from BBBBBB to EEEEEE.
Is there any way to change this in a single shot using ISPF command ?

You didn't even bother to read about the TSO RENAME command, did you?

no

I suggest you read the file and for each line:
- parse
- issue TSO RENAME command

Good one Marso...icon_smile.gif.

And as IKJEFT01 is TSO in Batch, may be you can write a JCL (so fluffy attracive word for 'Software Engineers' icon_biggrin.gif) - and can issue a rename in background.

If you like you can use ISPF function LMDLIST. This function lists all datasets to a pattern.
You can do with each entry what you like.
Please check the manual for LMDINIT, LMDLIST and LMDFREE.
