Hi,
I have a question regarding the archival process in SAVRS - In our test system jobs are being archived after a few days and we are able to see them in the SAVRS from then - But when we retrieve the job from the archives we are only able to see the SYSOUTs (of program steps) related to the job but not the complete information which would generally be available in the JES pool when the job is not yet archived.
So, is there a way to alter the way the jobs are being archived by SAVRS, so that the complete Job related information can be seen even after the retrieval happens from archives ?
Thank you in advance for your attention paid to the question. |

Have you talked to the admin teams?
How do you expect us to GIVE you the solution when you haven't even cared to post details about the archival jobs? |

This is a site-specific set up issue. Our $AVRS restore job restores everything from archive, so there's something not right about your site's set up. |

I echo the reply from Robert. Same does happen at this shop and similar used to happen at the previous shop. However, at previous shop we were supposed to execute a batch to 'recall" the archived jobs. Said that, it was specifc to that site and not to the current site - suggest yo uask some one around or your support personnel politely about this. |
