Resolving AZI4

Hi all,

I am trying to execute a COBOL,CICS,MQ,DB2 program and I am executing the CICS through EXCI Interface and
its like my cics program is not getting
exit out of the program and as per log I am receiving AZI4 in the log.

could anyone please give me some pointers to decrypt AZI4 Abend?

Have you located the meaning of the AZI4? IBM seems to say "wait until the other region is available and try again".

Yes I did check that but the wait here means the CICS region here ? or the MQ interface

Actually I am just trying to work on a poc for SYNCPOINT ROLLBACK

But ended this way

AXI4 is issued for IRC . This refers to a CICS region - there is no IRC between CICS and MQ.

I'm not saying this is an answer to your problem, but it might give you some ideas.

I googled azi4 exci cics. I haven't looked beyond this one.

if You still do not understand the best thing is to ask Your collegueas,
not the pink one ( that' s the DB2 expert ) , the small green one with 4 fingers ( the CICS expert )

the last day of every training class is a full day of body maintenance to upgrade the look
yep... I was told that the finger treatment is pretty painful
