Dear All,
Need to know what are all the checks to be done before and after upgradation of File_AID DB2 Version 10 from File_AID DB2 Version 6? So far, i got some information like to regenerate the File Aid Jobs that are already released after upgradation(with the latest load module). Please let me know what are all the other possibilities to be done to validate the new version? |

I would have thought, now that you are finally upgrading, Compuware would be very keen to help you with this to impress you (your company, anyway) and encourage you to upgrade early next time.
I'd also suspect the manuals would have a section describing the sort of things necessary, but perhaps version six to version 10 is not covered. No idea. |

Hello,
Suggest you talk with Compuware. Many vendors provide an upgrade path from one release to the next. A few even provide the ability to "leap-frog" over a release. I do not recall an upgrade path for leaping over so many uninstalled releases. . .
It may be better done as a new install rather than an upgrade.
The best answers available will be from Compuware Support. |

Correction - It is upgrade from File_aid for DB2 from V6000 to V6200. Also I have mailed the compuware helpdesk for manual, they asked me to register in compuware to get the latest version manual. |
