When I am giving the dataset name as input to Xpeditor in Batch Mode and presing enter, It is asking to run a specific step outof all the steps.
So the steps which are having IKJEFT01,

are getting the question mark before them
When I am trying to run them,
it is giving the following error.

pf1 in xpeditor will provide info.
there is a screen for batch submission and preparation.
stop being so lazy and read the help,
use the batch jcl submission screen to generate jcl
and compare that to the garbage you are using.
as expat said, you have given us no useful information.
but since you have not used the resources available
please do not post again. |

You can think what you like. If there are things you have done, and not told us, fully expect to be told to do those things.
Now, if you want to get anywhere with this, how about fully describing the problem.
Or, if you want it quick, how about arranging it so that you have a seperate job with just the step in that you are interested in, then you don't even have the confusion that you think you have,
When you set up your own board, you can tell people what to do. Until then, take notice of your errors and don't try to push the blame onto anyone else, and certainly don't tell anyone else what to do/not to do. |

There is always a better way to comment.
How can u call my Job as Garbage....
One should behave properly when you expect good behavior from others.
I know more require help from this Forum.
Here people are more busy in answering personally, not to the actual question. |

Please do not show disrespect for the senior members who may or may not reply to your liking.
The advice given is sound advice on how to help yourself before posting. And whenever you do post you should also detail exactly what steps you have taken to resolve the problem already, and the results of those steps. Failure to do so only helps to make you look lazy, stupid or both.
Now, shall we have a think about this.
The error says that SYSTSIN is missing.
Does your IKJEFT01 JCL have a SYSTSIN DD statement ? |

well, if you have done everything perfectly, as you say you have,
and you still have a problem,
time to call CA support about the bug in xpeditor that you have found. |

do not send me emails.
you should provide some answers to the questions,
instead of hiding behind your 'politically correct' BS.
and a few slangs from you may prove more productive than the childish
garbage that you have given us thus far. |
