Hi,
I am mainframe professional. i came to know one new Job Requirement as bellow;
Gener/OL, AXIOM, PRC, SSR, CMR
I don’t have any idea abut these skills. Can anyone let me know what these skills are and is it suitable for me or not?
FYI: I am a Vanilla mainframe professional. (JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM)

If you are not even aware of the names, they would not be suitable yet. If you apply for this position, it would possibly be good explain that while you do not know these now, you would be most willing to learn them. |

At one of my shops these wree the terms used when we plan to install a new Project in Production. If they mean what I think, then, I'd say this Job-advertisment is poorly designed.
For instance AXIOM is A*****n E*****s Integrated Output Management CMR means Change Mangement Request and so on. But then one should not be tested on these skills for a Job-interview! |
