Has anybody encountered SYNCH20 while auditng a package? it says
SYNCH20! (Inconsistent subroutine)
Re-build the affected composite component to pick up the latest versions of all subcomponents.
Let me know how to resolve it ....... |

Why did you post this in the COBOL forum? It sounds like you're talking about one of the source code management packages, not COBOL. |

how does this relate to COBOL...
when You ask questions You should learn to post more significant info!
the only reasonable reply for such a badly posed question is
read Yourself the manual of the product You are using ( endevor, changeman, whatever else ... )
or ask Your support
or find out what happened since the last time Your <action/process> was successful |

but if You had told the product used a moderator would have moved the topic to the proper forum |

SYNCH20! is a Change-Man audit error and it's pretty explanatory -- one of the called-program, in your pacakge, is having lower version number than installed in prod.
In spool, from the audit job, search for SYNCH20! -- it will be flagged in front of all the impacted components. Find which one is casuing problem, check-out the program from base-line, put your changes, stage and audit the package again. |
