MVS Mainframe Vs IFL ( Integrated facility for Linux, Mainframe CPU)

MVS has 2 processors running at 26MIPS each
Linux systems have a single shared processor running at 350MIPS

I would like to compare performance of both on Write and Read. Is there any way I can compare the data obtain on one against another?

I have run same program in both enviroment and have data (time taken in write and).

Many thanks,

IFL's run under VM as a guest, so I'd recommend that you contact IBM directly.

Any guest running under VM as opposed to native z/OS is comparing apples and oranges.

Have you Googled "IFL" or the long name?
