The 'message and code' always ask me to contact with the system Adm.
But I am the ADM .
I have no experienc with SCLM.

System action:
An abend will occur unless the program was loaded by a LOAD macro with the ERRET option specified.
User response:
Rerun the job with a larger region size specified.

How can I enlarge the size in SCLM translators with the macro.
FLMALLOC?
FLMTRNSL ?
which Parameter is about the region size?
By the way, thank you all the same,Enrico. |

I am not on the mainframe now...
look at the JES output and see if the region parameter was specified anywhere
if there is no parameter on the each exec You can specify one on the JOB card |

Hello,
We have very few sclm topics (around 10 this year).
Suggest you open an issue with product support. |

if instead asking stupid questions You' d follow on to my implicit question, You might get better results
that' s not an issue that SCLM support will ever bother taking care of!
it is not an SCLM issue per se,
rather a insufficient/wrong understanding of SCLM customization
aka an USER implementation error |

Hello,
Various product support groups will help with customization for a new user. . .
They do expect that a minimal bit of guidance will be sufficient as they are not in the business of teachning/training.
You might ask which training they would recommend. |

Hi Dick!
I have a small SCLM project defined, so that I can check the answers I give to people who deserve to be helped,
but in this case ....
I just looked at the TS profile and, guess what ...

Hi Enrico,

If the organiztion (IBM or other) does not provide some kind of infrastructure training for the new and unexperienced people they hire, how is the new person to know/learn?
Sometimes i believe organizations are trying to get by spending as little as possible, but often there aren't properly trained (let alone experienced) people available. I'm sometimes invited to participate in technical interviews in the last few years and it is really scary the lack of depth available.
Back when i had a "real" job and was a hiring manager, the problem was making a choice between multiple highly qualified people.

The reedbook supplied by IBM is useful as a reference(like a dictionary), but not friendly for a new user.
If you know the knowledge, you can find some help from the redbooks.
If you are a jackaroo, it gets more confusing after reading the redbooks. |

Redbook SG24-7392, Getting Started with SCLM: A Practical Guide to SCLM and SCLM Advanced Edition seems pretty good at step-by-step setup of test projects -- I don't use SCLM, but I could certainly follow the directions provided. |
