Hi All,
I am having a problem here and requesting your inputs.
For one of the IMS insert calls I am getting status code AH.
If i see manuals the reason it says SSA was not specified.
but for my program
first it is establishing parentage by using GU
and checking if that particular segment exists by GHU..if it is there
issuing REPL if it is GE then issuing ISRT.
as it is retturning GE here it is inserting and giving AH status code.
so my question as it is issuing GE parentage is lost? and ISRT fails..?
or there any reasons for AH..? Need inputs to proceed further |

Will you please post your calls - all of your calls relating to the ISRT. You do not need to set parentage for an ISRT call. |

Sandy,
unqualified SSA for ISRT call saying which segment should be inserted
is a MUST..Is that right?
because unqualified SSA is missing in the code...may be that is erroring out. |

Are you inserting a root segment or a child segment?
Yes - you need an unqualified SSA for the segment you are inserting. Think about your POSITION in the database. |
