Hi,

I want to know how to check for low values/or high values in a field of a VSAM file using Fileaid. The filed is a pic x(2) field.

That filed has some high values and low values in few records of the VSAM file. I have replaced these low/high values with spaces. Now I want to check if the updated file has any low/high values in that particular 2 byte field using Fileaid. But what condition should I use for this. We cant mention FILED = X'0000' (It is saying too long string). Pls advise.

Thanks
