Hi all,
When we promote a package it promote the all the load modules to default libraries defined in the Changeman.
I want to promote my package load modules to other library.
How can we do this?

Hello,
The standard processes/libraries are there for a reason. . .
Why do you believe it is appropriate to deviate? Does your manager agree? Often there is a penalty for using other than the standard processes/libraries. . . |

funny, everytime someone wants to deviate from site standards,
they always look outside their organization for a 'solution'.
maybe we should supply them the 'solution'
and speed them on their way - outside their organization. |

Some have found that forgivness is often easier than permission. . .
Some of these have found that there was no forgiveness and were excused from further participation. . .

As worded, it should not be allowed at any shop with proper administration. Because,
- First, when Change-man is installed that time system-admin or system-support people have invested their time to get the correct promotion-libraries names in the set-up of change-man. So, if you drift from these, as other has said, it's a violation of site-policies.
- Second, if you want the load module in other libraries than in "actual libraries" - you should not term the process as "Prmoting from changeman".
However, if you want to have load-module in some other PDS, for testing purpose, well - load-module of some program-of-interest is just other member in some PDS, copy it from one PDS to other PDS by any means - BUT it's not promotion, it won't go to promotion-libraries, it will not get installed in production and it might not be needed at all, at first place. |

Actually I think I have posted question in wrong way...
There are 2 load libraries in over project.
When we promote all the load modules will go to 1st loadlib by default.
There is a concept like LCT card in changeman; by this we can decide to which loadlib our promoted module will go.
If any body have documentation in LCT in changeman please send.
