Is there a simple answer as to: where to see - or HOW to DISPLAY - the SYSGEN? I want to know what the current settings are.

Hello,

The simple answer is to ask the people who provide system support - they maintain the settings.

Not currently available - I know how to DCMT and DCUF - I was hoping there is a standard task. -I even have the SYSGEN manual, but it tells you how to define the settings but not how to run or view it - at least what I could find.

Hello,

If my memory is still working tonight, DCMT and DCUF are related to IDMS - not the sysgen for the system. Is your question about somthing in the configuration of IDMS?

This would be quite different than the Operating System system generation.

Oh sorry - I meant the IDMS SYSGEN - where various intervals and settings are "set" for a CV.

Hello Cakask,

Did you try the command DCMT DISPLAY SYSGEN? This command should work to see the definition of sysgen.

In the install documentation, there should be sample jobstreams that will name some "standard" datasets. If you look for some similarly named datasets with local high-level qualifiers, you may find the info you want in "source" form. Of course, these datasets may be restricted. . .
