Hi ,

After logging into TSO session, if I leave it open say for 1 hour without any activity the session will terminate (Close) automatically with a time out message.

Is there any TSO command/set up by which I can prevent this?

Thanks,

The '&' (Auto-Update) command is not a TSO command, but a SDSF primary command.

If it still returns the 'Invalid command' message, then probably the operators have disabled this command for the TSO users. At most sites, this command is abused by leaving it on overnight to prevent the TSO session from timing out. This is a system overhead and may cause problems if the system is IPL'ing. So, the operators simply disable the command so the TSO users can't use it.

Hi Rupesh ,

This command refreshes the session for total seconds mentioned , but you cannot work on the panel with other commands simultaneously ,

"Could you tell me how we can unlock that command.. "

Use ATTENTION KEY to release the command.

--------------
Thanks
Sharma
