| I received abend S7F8 while reproying from 1 tape to another. I have not found anything on this anywhere. |

Probably if you show us the JCL and the full diagnostic information you have - some one might have a suggestion.
I believe you're talking about IDCAMS REPRO. IDCAMS REPRO could be used for most files except DF/DSS dumps. So, I'd like to imagine that you're not working with DF/DSS dumps. |

| That sounds like a CA-1 TMS error. Check the CA-1 Msgs and Codes for an xx8-rc abend desciption. |

If it is a CA-1 TMS error, the problem is the Audit data set is full and the site support group needs to run TMSCOPY to back up the TMC and audit data sets. The F8 would be the SVC for CA-1 at this site.
Contact your site support group for assistance and possibly running the appropriate maintenance job(s). |
