Hi,
We have two TSO regions in our system, one for development and the other is a production TSO region. Both these regions have ESP schedulers in the ISPF menu. We use a JCL triggered REXX macro to access the job information in the scheduler.
The limitation is that the job (or macro to fetch information of jobs to be monitored) is triggered in the development TSO region but we need to check the details of jobs in production region. Is there a way to get the information from the ESP scheduler of a different TSO region (say Production) in another TSO region (say Development) through a Job/REXX macro? |

As far as i know the job scheduling information is stored in a File which is specific to the schedulers. Generally production and developement run on different LPARs and hence there is no physical link between the two and hence you cannot access each other's datasets .
Just find out weather in your instance , the developement and production are in same LPAR or different . If same , then find out the File which stores the scheduling information for production . Modify the REXX accordingly and submit the JCL . |
