Well, many of my associate colleagues and myself have begin to work in SAS, and we have plans of using forums for the same, since we are beginners , we surely need help and also would liek to extend our hands if any help is needed. Our plans are SAS sertifications too, and my personal favourite is this forum from a long time, even when i was not a member. So if you guys come up with a SAS forum, I will be be thankful indeed. |

Well in fact the team here is spread over two locations, and including myself there are about 18 users for this Client account alone, leave apart the remaining SAS users in other branches of my company. |

McMillan and nobody around here is really interested on how many people deal with SAS in Your organization
but rather on how many of
of 1204 people ( with more than 20 posts )
or 2251 people ( with more than 10 posts )
are really interested in a SAS dedicated section
also asking for a forum section based on Your organization' s desires, looks to me as a bit out of place |

Do agree.
Suggest you ask away your queries instead of asking a seprate part of the Forum. McMillian have a seprate team to decide on that. And just 18 users seems quite less to start with a separate part. |

Hi Sudeshna,
Do you have fear that if you post your queries in Other Mainframe Topics then it will be unanswered????
If so this assumption is wrong.. There are already 100+ topics on SAS in this part of forum with pretty satisfying replies...
You can continue to use that...
This was already discussed once |

Well, first of all I am not expressing my organisation's desire to start a new forum, these were just friendly ideas from my colleagues and friends. Ofcourse about posts already there on SAS in this forum was not so much known to me, if that is the case then please let me know usually which threads u guys use to post SAS queries, we are more than happy if we can just discuss the SAS queries somewhere out here, nonetheless we were never targetting to win some glorious award by inventing another Forum on SAS, it was just a candid simple suggestion. If the no of users u feel is quite small for that, then lets drop the idea, we are not missing any award again on that note. |

1. May be Other Mainframe Topics can be your choice.
2. Please avoid using chat slangs -- lately many users were not happy with those kind of gestures.
And as far as award is concerned, don't worry we make our users, when they continue in good manner, as "Active", "Senior" from "New User" from where they start with... |
