Hi all,
Can anyone please tel me how to get the following date using OPC variables.
i.e 1st day of the previous month in the form - CYYMMDD &
last day of the previous month - CYYMMDD
For example,
Suppose my job runs on first saturday of the month, I want to know the OPC variable to calculate, 1st and last day of previous month.
i.e. Currently since it runs on 01aug09, OPC variable for 1090701 and 1090731.
Please help me out.

No, here i dont have direct communication with our OPC. But, since i had already worked on some OPC variables, i have an few idea for some date format in OPC.
Can anyone help me.

You will need to read the manuals for which variables are supplied by IBM for TWS, and also the section about User Defined variables to see if it is possible to create your own to give you what you want.
All of the supplied variables appear to be for the current month.
All can be found in chapter 1.23.1 of the Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS V?R? Managing the Workload manual. |
