In DC-BATCH pgms, apart from Bind Run-unit, one more bind statement i BIND TASK MAX LENGTH (numbers) is inlcuded.

What is the significance of BIND TASK?

How to calculate the Max. length for BIND TASK?

Hi,

Bind Task is issued when you want to bind a particular online transaction to the cv.

As far as I can remember the length of Transaction area... which is similar to your commarea in CICS is in Kilo bytes.. I am not aware of the exact number.. I would suggest you to refer the manuals.

Thanks
