If the OPEN ERROR indicates your PDS member, are you editing it? |

1. If the member is "opened" at other terminal by some other RACF ID, changeman won't allow to open it at other terminal.
2. Hit PF1. |

Hi,
I also faced the same problem several times...
One of the possible reasons:
This is becoz of the PDS naming convention u r using... For some Datasets(PDS) changeman does not allow to copy from...
So Copy the required member into other PDS with different naming convention......
Ex: LDCNA.RSS.SRC(mem1)--- Change may not have access
T.RSS.SRC(mem1)--- It might work
What I am trying to say is changeman does not all datasets(there may be some settings, which I dont know) to copy ....So try to change ur PDS name & I hope it will work.... |

Usually, changeman does not allow to "stage" members from a PDS which has your RACF ID as HLQ. HLQ can be any other allowed HLQ in test environment, though. |

Have you asked your site's Changeman support group? |

Did you try PF1, it usually shows the long descriptive message. |
