Hi All,

Am testing an instream eztrieve program. At times the job runs fine and after sometime the job abends with soc4. When i tried to run the program with CMAN load(not as instream) with a sample jcl, it runs fine all the time.

The program am using to execute instream jcl is EZTPA00.

The abend aid information is as follows,

COMPLETION CODE SYSTEM = 0C4 REASON CODE = 00000010

PSW AT ENTRY TO ABEND 078D2000 000212D0 ILC 04 INTC 0010

PSW LOAD MODULE ADDRESS = 0001FE58 OFFSET = 00001478

Hello,

To get useful replies from the forum, you will need to provide much more information.

What does thi smean? Is this something other than comipled Easytrieve?

How long has this been failing? Were some changed introduced shortly before the first abend? How large is the source code?

What is the difference between the sample jcl and the "real" jcl?
