Need information about RACF tools

Hi all,

I urgently need information about RACF tools. I really don't have any knowledge on this. if anyone has any document please send it to me.
I heard some tools used for RACF is RAD ...

Please give me an insight on this.

But this link shows many links. I need information about the RACF tools
like RAD etc.... I even search in the internet but couldn't find the
exact information for that.

If Your shop is licensed to use them, are not you available with the documentation? Try to get in touch with some "senior" at your shop about them.

This I am going to use in my new assignment. There is no such document as of now. Thanks.

So generally I want to know about RACF and what are all the tools
used for that like RAD.

RACF is usually a stand alone product, with only things like Vanguard reporting as an add on (only 1 I've ever heard of).

Maybe it would be easier if you explained what you want to do with RACF

Sorry, but I can not understand your concept of tools in RACF.

As stated above, RACF is a pretty much stand alone facilty that can be used from the panels or from batch.

But unless you can actually tell us specifically what you want to know then no one can be of any help. Maybe if you tell us what your new assigment is, then that may give us some clues.

unless You specify better what You are looking for, You will get little replies

RACF does not need any tools,
You can carry on all the RACF administrative work by using the RACF provided utilities

can anybody help me prepare for my new job?


my suggestion, read the redbooks about RACF
