Trigger abends(basic Knowledge on trigger)

In this project we have to accept the abends (tickets).
In this one ticket, these triggers are not received, that's why this ticket was raised. But I don't understanding what is a trigger.

I have some knowledge about this. Daily source system will send the file, by using this source file jobs will start in CA7. I heard source system itself will send the trigger with the source file.

But I don't understand what is this trigger? Is it any JOB or any name?

I asked a few members.

Hello and welcome to the forum,

If your system uses CA7, there will be a group (scheduling) that supports scheduling activities. Suggest you talk with them about your process rather than talking with other develpers.
