How to refer the generation

HI

I have created 6th generation in Step 1 and 7th generation in Step 2
i want to refer 6th generation in step 3 and 7th generation in step 4 of the same JCL? How can i do this? Is it possible

Hello krbabu,

Yes you can definately do it....

in step 1 you will create the 6th generation as +1
in step 2 you will create the 7th generation as +2
in step 3 you will refer the 6th generation as +1
in step 4 you will refer the 7th generation as +2


GDG numbers are not refreshed until the job ends normally or abnormally.
