Hi,
Could anyone please let me know whether is it possible to find who all have logged in to mainframe session at any instant. Is there any command to do so or we can find it with the help of any REXX program. |

Please post where you read this.
Every system i've worked on shows logged-on users whether they have "recently submitted a job" or not. Each logged-on user is a separate process to the system and could not work if they did not have an associated process.
Keep in mind that this does not show cics users. . . |

I think it is based on how system programmer has customized SDSF. When I issue PREFIX * on production system, I get 'not authorized' message (but works on test system). |

Yes, some or all of sdsf is restricted at many sites.
I do not believe this is related to the business of having recently submitted a job. . . |

Try using:
It will show you the userids of logged on users.
SDSF is probably easiest, but lacking that, you might also try using the CONSOLE command (see rexx reference manual) |
