hi,
i have IMS/DB program. when i tried to restart the job with Xpediter tool i got U102 abend. but when i run the job in TSO i can run successfully. please let me know how can i restart the job in Xpediter tool.

Hi,
Actually U102 is that when Restart information is not available....
->Did you change the PARM parameters in the Xpeditor setup while restrating ... i.e., providing chkpoint id etc...
->You should not change the job name while restarting....

still i have Confused. In my job i am using Check point file. in that file i was using checkpoint id 'LAST'. So when i try to Restart the job in Xpediter tool i got U102 abend. So plz Explain where i have to provide the Checkpoint id . PARM in the sense wher i have to give the Checkpoint id. do u have a screen shot give it me..

Rajesh,
'LAST' ID i was using in input file.. input file contain
PROGNA CHKPOINTLIMIT CHK-ID max chk-limit
000001 FAST2102 001000 LAST 0200000
when i restart the with Xpediter tool.. the program open this input file and read the file.. |

| LAST is a keyword that is used for restarting the job with LAST used chk point ID. You should not mention that in input file...Could you also post the parm card that you are using for ur JCL...?? Please go thru the chkpoint -restart doc. once again... |

ok.. i try to give the parm parameter in Xpediter tool .. but it shows error. it didnot enter in to the program. I gave 'LAST' is parm parameter. SO where shoud i give exactly.. do u have any screen shots.

| Try giving the checkpoint Id directly instead of LAST. |
