Hi,

Our manager asked the following question and we are not much aware of it.

What is the DB2 policy to use from a particular client?

For ex: already 5 users (so 5 Mainframes IDs are there) are accessing DB2 in a particular project and 6th person joined newly and he will be given 6th mainframe ID and he also needs to access the client's DB2 database. Will there be any client policy to access the DB2?

As per my knowledge, our support people will create Mainframe ID once the client accepts the request and they will give permissions to that particular ID depending on requirements. Is client's approval necessary to give permission to a particular ID to access the DB2 database?

Please let me know.
