Hi to all!

Today, in SDSF, DA panel, i put a "s" to browse the actual running of the job.
but unfortunatly, i typed the "w" instead of "s".

what is "w", and what I have done?

and can anybody give me a link or a doc with the sdsf commands?
It would be very useful to me...

thanks

W causes the job output to get printed onto the host printer.

Printing will happen if the default SYSOUT class was set to ‘9’.

To avoid the printing even if the W is issued. Do the following.

Quote:
Go to EJES
1) The top line is menu. Put your cursor anywhere on word Options
2) Hit enter
3) Choose option 9 and hit enter
4) Following box will popup: You should see the Wtr class is set to '9'. Please change to '2'. Hit ENTER.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Gnanas,

I will try it.

But I have a question(forgive me, but I am just an operator)
EJES is just the JES3 or this method you have written, will works under JES2 too?

SYSOUT classes are site dependent, for my site class A will print on the local printer, class C will be flushed.

As you said, I gave the info for (E)JES JES3 Spool Interface Facility. Thats what I am using. I am not sure this with JES2.

As Craq said,

.

These are system dependent. You please discuss this with your Admin Team.

Correct me if I am wrong.
