In fileaid we are having SELECTION CRITERIA in multiple places.

Is that possible for you to be more clear on what yu are looking for.

You are right....In selection criteria you'll be having

Specify Selection Criteria Information: (E = Existing; T = Temporary;
Selection criteria usage ===> T M = Modify; Q = Quick; N = None)
Selection dataset name ===>
Member name ===> (Blank or pattern for member list)

Suppose if you want to copy the records based on some conditions for eg:

If i want to copy the records like Name = TANDEN

Then Give the criteria as T and enter

It'll ask for the layout to use....Is PDS where copy book exists
and Member

Give the corr name and memeber....give PF3

It'll display the OPTION menu

Press 2 and enter

It'll display your layout...In that give the criteria as

NAME = TANDEN
NO
SAL

It'll select all the records of name tanden.

If you dont want any selection criteria i.e no conditions and if you want to reflect the entire records in the new one give N (for none) in the criteria while begining itself.

Hope iam clear...If you still have doubts....Make a note and the same if i made anything wrong.

Regards
Tanden
