Hi all,

What is the command to view the Max-cc number next to the job itself. Usually we need to do a PF8 for that.

Thanks in advance
Gowri

Gowri, Aaru,

I'll explain Murali's suggestion. ARR ? is used to arrange the spool display fields.

Go to spool and type ARR? as shown below:
Code:
COMMAND INPUT ===> ARR ?

and ARRANGE window pops up as shown below:

Code:
     Column              Width   Description
      JobID                   8
      Owner                   8
      Prty                    4
      Pos                     5
      Max-RC                 10   Delayed access
      Queue                  10
      C                       1
      SAff                    5
      ASys                    4
      Status                 17
      PrtDest                18

Use '/' or '//' to move a single filed or a group of fields respectively and move it(them) 'B' Before or 'A' After a field.

Hope this helps,
Cheers, T.

Hi,

I used the above suggested option
Quote:
ARR ?
& got the following
Code:
                           Arrange           Row 1 to 11 of 19
Command ===>

Select a column or block with / or // then type A (after) or
B (before) to move. Special function keys:
F5/17=Refresh list  F11/23=Clear input  F6/18=Default order

     Column              Width   Description
     TYP                     3
     JNUM                    5
     JC                      2
     JP                      2
     QUE                     3
     SAFF                    4
     ASYS                    4
     STATUS                  6
     ROOM                    5   Delayed access
     PROGRAMMER NAME        21   Delayed access
     ACCT                    5   Delayed access
     ISYS                    4   Delayed access
     RDR TIME                8   Delayed access
     RDR DT                 10   Delayed access
     ESYS                    4   Delayed access
     STA TIME                8   Delayed access
     STA DT                 10   Delayed access
     END TIME                8   Delayed access
     END DT                 10   Delayed access

but didn't get any column for
Code:
Max-RC                 10   Delayed access

why so, is it site specific ?

Hi Anuj,

Maybe they're site specific, as you guessed earlier..!

Assuming you need to check the RC of multiple jobs (say 100 jobs), you need to repeat this for every job rite?????

Press F11 and see you have any column which shows MAXCC.

MAXCC won't be seen if you don't have it in the list for ARR ?, when you press PF11.

Since the panel what Anuj has posted is a tailored one, I expect they might have RENAMED the maxcc column (long shot).

Hi Murali,

Why do you think that the panel posted by me is a tailored one?

Because the normal IBM supplied panel shows MAXCC column.

Murali,

I did this to get the panel shown is my post:

Code:
START/S.ST/ ARR ?

What came there, I post it here. If the panel is a tailored one then I think, I need to get in touch with system guys, but I doubt it they've done this. What benefit will they get by hiding/changing the MAXCC column ?

Hi

Using SDSF everybody should remember that there are two column lists
the primary and the alternate,
I do not remember the command but from the options list,
view option 4 will switch between the two lists

start looking at them both scrolling left and right or using the "ARR ?" command

You should remember anyway that both lists can be customized so do not take for granted
the descriptions that other posters might make on the look of their screens

usually MAX RC is in the output/hold st

regards

e.s
