Hi All
I have a basic doubt in HEX decimal, I got those doubt while searching in File-Aid.
I am quite new to the FILE-AID.
I am searching records in a file from the first position with equal value for 3414137(COMP 3 field).
I gave condition CO X'3414D7' -> But its not giving any record, sure that file contains records for 3414137 values.
please explain how do I give the condtion??
As well as can you explain the result of the below condition, for all those position starting from 1.
X'0001FF'
X'00,01,FF'
X'789C,789D' |

Why the "D" in place of the "13"? |

Hi,
Thank you for your reply...
I thought instead of 13 of we can give D ( i.e Hex is 0-9, A-F)
Correct me if I am wrong.. |
