Can someone please tell me if there is a JCL compiler and if so,where to find a JCL compiler so that i can practise at home,as I am quite new to this field?please reply |

even i heard something like this.some red hat associates called Cygnus Solutions' core is compiled Java which is jcl compiler, a new GCC front-end.iam not sure about it.
we used to type prep command before submitting a job.

Hi,
I know about the compile JCL program but i am not sure about the compile jcl tool.If know about this let me update about this TOOL. |

Hi,
JCL is not a HLL like Cobol,So I dont think it has any compliler.
Rst all system defined JCL/PROCS r stoted in CENTER.PROCLIB
JCL is basically used to submit jobs/progs
